Germination Week is a hands-on short course for seed professionals preparing for the AOSA/SCST Germination exam. Participants gain applied experience evaluating seedlings across a wide range of crop, vegetable, flower, and grass species using warm and cold germination tests, along with accelerated aging, tetrazolium, and biotech trait testing. The week combines focused instruction with extensive lab time, including a signature station-based Germination Lab session.

Purity Week is an intensive, hands-on short course for seed analysts preparing for the AOSA/SCST Purity Exam. Participants review purity analysis from an exam-focused perspective while working through more challenging aspects of the AOSA Rules and gaining experience with species and contaminants they may not encounter in routine lab work. Instruction combines interactive lectures, open discussion, worksheets, and substantial hands-on lab time covering seed identification, working samples, pure seed units, tolerances, dividing, and reporting results.
