Notice to AOSA & SCST Members
Voting Procedure for 2020 and 2021 Rules Proposals
The Joint Boards met and discussed how voting on the 2020 and 2021 AOSA Rule Proposals will be occurring. This year, voting on the AOSA Rules will be done through Survey Monkey; the process will be as follows:
At the close of the Open Rules Discussion on June 16th, eligible members will be sent a survey link to vote on the Rules.
Voting will be open until the close of the SCST business meeting at 1:30 PST on June 17th.
David Johnston will be reaching out to AOSA Labs to ask who their designated voting representative for the lab will be. The voting link will only be sent to this individual. This will allow verification on the AOSA side that the appropriate representative was voting.
On the SCST side, the link will only be sent to all Registered, Certified, Professional, and Research members registered for the Annual meeting. As in the past, individuals that are both the AOSA designated representative and SCST eligible member will be allowed to vote twice. These individuals will receive two survey links for voting. You will receive an AOSA link and an SCST link. Each organization has separate voting links to allow for ease in tallying each Organizations votes to determine the super majority.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to a Board member.
